I sometimes like to use zoombrowser to double check where my focus point was. The question I have is the focus point info icon is active sometimes and not active at others. Does anyone know what the criteria is to have this active?
Thanks Mike..

I am not sure what you exactly mean by ‘sometimes active’ focusing points.

You can see all of them, they are black.

Focusing points that achieved focus are red in One Shot and AI Focus drive mode.
In AI Servo, Multiple Shots, only the first shot has center red focusing point; all of the others in the same burst have all of them black.

If you don’t see ANY focusing point, it only means that you have lost that information somewhere in post processing.

I hope I didn't confuze you too much.. ;)

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Thanks for the reply, I knew I probably was not explaining my problem correctly. When I open an image sometimes I can click on the focus point option and it opens other times it will not.
When The icon/control does let this function open, it does operate properly.

It appears as though this function is not availabel on JPEGs. Is this the case.
When I open a raw image I can get this function.

Thanks
