Hummmmmmmmmer

I tell you what who doesn't love seeing a hummingbird.
And so friendly, I had one land in my a flowerpot that was hanging about three feet from my head. Boy was he ticked that I was near is feeder.
He finaly went over and started drinking away but always had an eye on me.
Enjoy.. 500mm - 1/125 - F6.3 - ISO 400 -Hand Held
I really need to remember to bring out the tripod next time.

WOW! Thank you all for the wonderful comments.
I was suprised at how well most of the photos turned out for being hand held.
I think ( If the weather clears up ) I'm going to try and use the tripod today.
I've got one male that sits on a limb right above the feeder and gaurds it with his life, so it should be easy to get a nice focus.
I'll post more when I can.
