Got out this morning with Dancad and Busbyea for the Green Heron, while at the pond we met Gary Fairhead, Blackburnian and Salmon , we all decided to head to the south end of town where Bluebird nest boxes have been reported as active , we located a pair and then the fun began , here is my humble offering from that shoot , a big thank you to Ted (busbyea) for the loan of his 100-400 :) , C & C is welcome and appreciated

I have had some good luck staking out the nest boxes around here. These are great shots, especially the second one. It is difficult to catch flying birds in focus.

Very nice Wayne and I got a bit of a chuckle at the expression on the female in shot #2...a " where are you going? " type look.

Nice shots Wayne. I haven't seen one around here yet. Might have to find some boxes. :)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

What a day for you with a couple of firsts...the big lens looked good attached to your camera today! Good job.

Very nice images, Wayne. The Bluebirds are such cute birds. Fortunately, we seem to have an abundance this year but I never tire of photographing them.
