Another very cooperative bird I captured the other day, this is a member of the thrush family. Shots are handheld. My apologies for not commenting on many photos lately. I have been looking and there have been some amazing shots. I've recently moved so haven't much time. Still trying to get in some birding. :)

Nice ones! I really love their cool downward spiralling song echoing throughout the forest.

Great shot of the Veery. I have wanted to see one for years now. Looks like you have a good supply of migrants there. I've enjoyed your posts this spring.

Veery nice captures, Bob. :D

Are you moving closer to the birds? I saw some nice places for sale along the North Shore! ;)

Thanks everyone. Hahahah, 'veery nice captures'....I love bird humor! Actually I'm in an apartment, but surprisingly I've been seeing some good birds outside the patio area. I saw two Cooper's Hawks one day and a Wild Turkey. And sitting here at the computer I saw a Red-tailed Hawk circling around. Not bad. If only I could afford something near the North Shore! I'll keep dreaming!
