Guys I really hope this isn't some cruel joke. I received a PM tonight. Pup, form New Milford, lost his life in a tragic turn of events. He lives within miles of me, I spoke to him a few times, as I'm sure many of you have. I have no details as to what happened, but pup, aka Dan, has lost his life.

I'm used to hearing this often on my motorcycle forums, but never here. My thoughts go to his family.

My condolences if it's true, but you got a PM that someone died, but no details, and decided to start a thread about it, without confirming if it really is true or what/when/where/why/how?

Makes me think you'd start a thread if I randomly PMed you and said CDS passed on, without giving further detail or evidence or anything at all.

Again, I'm not trying to make light of it or detract if it really is true, but you really should find out the solid facts before starting such a heavy thread.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

All we can do is brace for the worst and hope for the best. If true, it's very sad. If it's not true, we can all be relieved together. I'm sure August23 has his reasons for believing it to be a reliable source.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Well, if it is true I'm deeply saddened by this. I've seen his posts around the different forums within the community and it's disheartening to know that he is no longer with us. I'm almost 100% positive I also added him as one of my POTN friends on MySpace as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

That's so sad. Just another reminder that life is precious and we should treasure every moment.
