The world can be a wonderful place ...

One thing that makes it so wonderful is the diversity that surrounds us all: flowers, animals, faiths, dress, bog-roll ... now whether you use a rustling leaf or super-soft Charmin let's see it arranged in decorative form (pre-use roll only please - this is a family channel!)

So, to get us going I have scraped together my own feeble effort at bog-roll architecture: Sainsury's own brand recycled - I try not to think about its previous owner/user  :o

Taken on your new 5D & 24-105L I assume?

I've just looked and we only have a couple of rolls left  had better keep those handy 'just-in-case' :o

OK, I gave in, got some funny looks from the cat (and the neighbours probably!).

Thought I'd take the 'rolls' out of their natural environment, couldn't decide which one to post so i thought I'd put them both here...

'Spice' was not sure what I was up to here, but by now it just accepts me 'pratting around' with toilet rolls (85mm @f/2 natural light)

I think the concrete frog adds to the scene... (85mm @f/2)

I must get out more... :-)

EDIT: Thought I'd better add that it is Asda toilet roll.

condyk,
Well I looked at this and first thought I must not be awake yet  But then thought about it.. hmm... a toilet paper photo. So I grabbed a roll (unused ;) ), and grabbed my camera. I noticed I had the 17-40L on it so I decided to use that lens.
Here is what I got, what do you all think? ???

Kev, I like the way you took the original creative concept and excreted a whole new genre from it ... urban wildlife roll inaction :-) I need to digest the implications and may well do a 'follow through' shot myself featuring Franny and Zooey.

Looking forward to some competing supermarket own brand roll Imran son :-)

I suspect this will be a strictly 'British humour' style thread (not implicitely 'owned' by the British of course!)

Sloop John B, I'd imagined US roll to be twice as large to accommodate the results of some bizarre junk food/condiment/fizzy drink imbibement habits :-) Not sure if that is the case from your shot, tho' I note use of wide angle.

Oh jolly good! We call it TP here and take the protection of it a a matter to be dealt with most severely. You won't see us mopping up the floor with it or trusting it to an attack cat. We like to keep our autoloading pistols and TP handy to handle the crappy little jobs that come up from time to time.

Like cleaning up a bunch of loonies that want to colonize us. Or giving someone an emergency colostomy. You just never know. So keep your paper dry and your weapons loaded. Cheers!

For the faint of heart or politically correct viewers, it is only a toy(you have my word on this, trust me)and cannot harm you by viewing it, no bog rolls were fouled in the making of this picture and it is all meant as a twisted black joke.
Carry on and wipe it from your memory.

You don't have to worry about PC from this end. I put 100 rounds of .38 special, 550 rounds of .357 Magnum and 5 rounds of .357 Magnum hollowpoint through my .357 Magnum revolver on Friday afternoon.

I'm working on the bog roll idea though...

The only reason you are saying all that gun stuff is to look big ... so either post some bog roll or bog off :-)
