I have a 'Zero'd' Preset I apply to all images on import.
I only ever sharpen for specific things too; local contrast, sharpening eyes, sharpening for print etc... so I almost always sjust sharpen in CS2.

But I doubt it will be selective sharpening, probably more along the lines of edge sharpening, or an unsharp mask... but that's just speculation. David C.

Hopefully there will be output sharpening in a version which is a free upgrade from 1.0 D7100, 50mm f/1.8, 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6, 70-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VR, SB800

I create the action, create the droplet and put in the LR exports. Then when I export I select my action as a post processing step. Is it normal that this then opens photoshop to run the action? I exported 20 pictures and ended up with 20 images in PS all of which had to then be saved indivdually. Is this what you experience?

The droplet is only telling PS that your action needs to be run. If you don't want the images open after sharpening then recreate the droplet and make sure you chck the box that says Save and Close. This will save the files at the maximum quality in the folder that you exported your images with the filenames you used upon export (so it is overwriting your unsharpened, exported files). You would need to do that for each CAMERA you use, and you can turn off the ISO/serial number specific defaults in preferences. Victoria
