Hi folks

if u like a custom install in cs3 , make this
looking for this file AdobePhotoshop10en_US_volume.proxy.xml
u can find it in the cd install or in the install package and open it with wordpad

Search for "<Requires>" (at line #1770)
Delete the whole "<Requires>...</Requires>"
Save it

try to re-install it again , u can install every components u want or uninstall which components u don't need

maybe this is useful info about the necessary compontens of photoshop cs3

  • Adobe Version Cue CS3 Client
  • Adobe Anchor Service CS3 "Bonjour" service u can disable but not delete
  • Adobe Color Common Settings
  • Adobe Color NA Recommended Settings
  • Adobe Type Support You need this to add new text layers to existing PSD files which already contain text layers

have fun

I removed bonjour from my system and ran C3 beta without problems. When my C3 package finally arrives I'll remove it again.
