spotted this pretty little lady while prowling around the borders of a marsh near the Seattle Arboretum. these thrushes aren't nearly as common around here as they used to be, mostly due to habitat destruction. unlike some species, varied thrushes prefer NOT to coexist with humans! can't say as i blame them... ;)
