How do I reduce the noise in Lightroom for pics taken with high ISO ?

And how do you make the pics sharp - even if there is little bit of camera shake? Is there a plugin which can help me with that?

Thanks

In the Develop module, sixth panel down on the right is Detail. This includes the noise reduction slider.

The real answer is that you can't - you have to get it right in camera (when taking the shot) by using a fast enough shutter speed or putting the camera on a tripod. You may be able to cure very minor blurring by using Lightroom's sharpening slider (and the masking slider) or by using a specific tool designed to reduce blur; but the reality is that they can only fix very minor problems.

Thanks Dan!

I actually am talking about very minor shake - which you cannot even see without zooming in.

Maybe this..

"It is the only software that can significantly recover lost detail from blurry images."

Notice the underlined....

It works as a plugin in PS,

EOS 6d, 7dMKII, Tokina 11-16, Tokina 16-28, Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8, Sigma 17-50 F/2.8, Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L, Canon 70-200 F/2.8L, Mixed Speedlites and other stuff.

When it ceases to be fun, it will be time to walk away

Then why bother fixing something that can't be seen by the viewer?

For printing purpose - it looks ok on a laptop, when I blow it is more visible.

Thanks

Are 5DSR RAW files viewable in Lightroom 5? I'm using 5.7 and the file previews are not available.

Thank you for any info regarding this.

Unfortunately looks like I have to upgrade to the next version.

Is Lightroom 6 upgrade available on disk?

Alternatively, convert them to DNG and then open them in LR
At least its a work around until yoi decide to upgrade LR or not

Thanks for the info! Am I able to obtain a disc copy of Lightroom 6 / CC when upgrading from 5? Or is LR 6 / CC disc stand alone full retail purchase?

Why buy a disk? Why not just download the installation file and burn it to a CD or USB drive.

The update price is $79.00 USD for perpetual Lightroom 6. There are some discounts for Lightroom CC, but the only upgrade discount is for those who purchased LR5 during the announcement period for LR6. There are some discounts available, but basically you pay the subscription price for CC. The cost is the same for new users as it is for those who have been around since LR1.

Don't get this, the caption metadata isn't syncing with all files, the reason I need it to sync with all files is that I want to caption all, or more than one file with the same caption so I can file this up quicker to the agency I contribute to
