They are all wonderful shots. Thanks for posting them. And thank you Scott. I would point out that neither the Oriole shots nor the Willet images required any flash. It was more a case of getting into the right position relative to the light. As a matter of fact with the Oriole, I set up where I wanted to be and watched him thru the tree until he came out on the side I wanted. It was a risk that he wouldn't but the images, I think, proved that the wait was worth it. Sindri Skulason wrote in post #3171176 Wow...excellent shots. It all just came together. I couldn't have found another tree in the area I was that night that would have come close to the one he was in. "the earth has music for those who listen."
