Nope, definitely not. http://www.showitfast.​com/ (external link) does, but can't make DVDs without paying an extra fee per DVD. I think iPhoto does something similar and comes with Macs - never owned a mac so not sure on that one.

Hey Tim...

yeah, they demo'd the ishow for me, he made a really basic video in about 1 minute..transitions, music etc. I really like proshow though, so I may keep my PC for that and a storage, after I learn to transfer between the two.

I won't be getting the Mac until later this year...want to get the notebook for weddings...was pretty impressed with it.

We will see what happens as time goes on.

On the Mac you can create slideshows with music, transitions etc with iPhoto, imovie and export to iDVD to create DVD's

No need for extra software or if you like, take a look at this

When you make the show in Iphoto can you export it directly to idvd? I didn't see that option -

Yes. Create the slideshow. The Send to iDVD option is in the Share menu.
