This little *&(%$#* has been tormenting me for weeks. I can hear him, but when I get the camera set up all I get is a flash of red. Well, today he was up in the top of a tree which meant I had to shoot through the branches, but I finally got him. They're not great, but I was excited to just get something other than a red blur! C&C appreciated.

Hey Becca, nice shots. The cardinals seem to be awful skittish now, after the winter.

The cardinals really are a challenge. The shots represent the bird very well. I really like when they show their crowns. Nicely done, Becca.

I have cardinals all day at my feeder but I know exactly how you feel about getting that shot of an elusive bird. There are several types of birds that rarely come to my feeder and then they only make a brief visit. It take some persistence and luck to get a good shot--congratulations on capturing your cardinal.
