My first Cinnamon Teal plus a cooperative Tree Sparrow

Driving home from the Palo Alto Baylands yesterday, I decided to see what was going on
at Coyote Hills. It was a sunny, hot day, so I didn't wonder too far from the car. I saw
my first Cinnamon Teal on the way to the ranger station. I stopped and took a few
shots out the car window. There were two couples, one on each side of the road. These
are from the closer ones. I used the 350D with 400 f5.6L.

Thanks gary. I also saw a few Northern Harriers and a pair of Red Tail Hawks, but they
stay too far away to get any decent shots. The Red Tails were feeding a youngster at the
top of a tree about 300 yards away.

Nice pics. I Havn't seen any Cinamon Teals yet, but hope to some time soon.
