Here is a follow up series of photos of the Snowy Egret chicks I shot two
weeks ago. They're definately getting bigger and more demanding. These
were taken with the 20D with Sigma 800 f5.6 and the 350D with 400 f5.6L.

Great shots George. Our Egret chicks should be hatching this week in the Rookery. I visit the Rookery every morning to check for new arrivals.

Thanks dwp, Spooks, Kevin, EZ, Ted. The Snowy Egrets seem to be developing
nicely. I haven't seen any Great Egret chicks yet.

Thanks Mitch. It's amazing how the young chicks look like prehistoric dinosaurs.
Especially when they grow up to be such beautiful birds. Here's a shot that I had
to lighten using PS Elements, sure looks like a pterodactyl.
