This is a wonderful capture, Mitch! Lots of detail. The bg is amazingly clean!

Thanks again Steve and Leo. Leo, at low f/stop numbers, all you need is 5 or 6 feet of clear air behind the subject and the bokeh will be so blurred it will make that creamy background. While this shot was luck of the draw, I usually try for those kinds of shots.

I've seen a strange looking wren briefly in my yard twice in the past couple of months. I'm dying to get a shot of it.

Thanks Stephen. I don't know about mastered, but I wore out a set of batteries last evening learning the limits of it. I think I can get by if I need to.

Good luck with your wren. This guy came and went so fast it was almost shocking. I was lucky to get off one shot.

Mitch, I havent seen all of your pictures, but I have seen most of them that you posted since last spring and this is the best yet, or at the least tied with one of your Eagle shots that I love. The Eagle might win coz its a BOP, but the wren is super hard to get a pic of..so....yup, this is the best!! Extremely well done!

But yeah, this is my best, because it is a rare bird and it was a snap shot with some luck thrown in and I was able to stave off the shakes til after I got the shot.
