This is a shot I took when I rented the Canon 10-22mm( while my 85 was in the shop ). My brother, friend and I were walking around downtown as usual when I get a new lens and happened to come across this empty parking lot basement. And right in front of the staird was this really nice light that lit only undernearth so I had my brother pose. Weird thing is that it looks like wood hes leaning back on but its actually concrete...go figure. Took it to Lightroom and played with colors and levels, added some grain and got this really grungy looking photo that I really like.

Those who I have showed all said they could see this as a CD cover, in which I dont feel my stuff is that worthy but I did think maybe on the back. All the bands songs could be on the left side in red, white, whatever color.

Despite those comments Id like to hear yours.:D If detail is somewhat lost its due to the resizing to get it to fit onto the threads, it hold alot of detail in the original photo.

I think its a good shot, you've left room for the text which will look really good there. Although this image does look a little wide for a CD case.

Whoever said that this would be a good cover is right! Forget the back cover! It almost looks like his hair is long and dark, until you really look closely. I tend to like gritty/grungy/raw photos sometimes... the "pretty" ones get boring:)

Cool picture.

On a side note, the concrete looks like wood because of the forms they used to hold the cement when they poured it.

I can't believe I missed this, I think this is an outstanding shot! I like the lighting and subdued earthy colors. I like the shadow behind the person, it looks a bit like he is morphing into something messianic. I like the use of negative space, and I can see how this can be utilized if used as artwork in a CD. Good job!

It was completely unintentional but like I was told by someone, It would look good for the text. Thanks:D

Maybe if I were to crop it tighter than yeah it could be a cover. Thanks

Nice shot, is it as grainy in real life or is that an artifact of resizing?

( i like the grainy look anyways so either way its stellar)

No I added the grain. It was exposed as good as it could be for the conditions and w/o flash. Thanks

It is a good shot and would be suitable for a quality cover.
As for worthy... is that not more a perception of the buyer or observer and less about the photographer at times? I don't like 90%+ of my pictures, and yet here "wows" from other people. My own worst critic or they are all lairs... hummmm

I dont think I have that great of photos, and think there is room for improvement. But if someone likes my photos enough to say way Im not going to let the compliment pass me by, nor will I deny a sell from a potential buyer, just because I dont think its up to my own high standards.

Just for the record noone did or has approached me regarding this as being on their cd case, it was merely just to display a shot I like and to hear comments from others that I have never met.
