I'm tired of the spending hours with the pen tool and all that other fun stuff. Already have lights and Chroma green & chroma blue backdrop.

I'm running PC, computer speed and cost of program is not an issue.

Ultra 2, After Effects is all I know of, is there something else that's better?

There are lot of good keying apps like Fluid Mask , Primatte , Knockout etc but you still have to clean up the mask which takes time anyway ,, the native PS tools for pulling a clean mask ( not Pen ) are as good as any and better than most .

currently I'm not utilizing the blue and green backdrops really. I have been just doing shoots normally and sometimes clients ask for something wild and unique so I end up spending hours using the extract function in photoshop and the pen tool and masks. I just did a commercial shoot, 30+ people and before hand I asked what color backdrop they wanted, they said the images would be going in a magazine with white backing so I said "OK" and brought 5 lights and a huge roll of seamless. The images are great, no cutting or erasing needed.

But now they change their mind and really like the pics I guess because, they now also want the bg to be transparent so they can also use the images for their website.. Already cut out 10 peeps. It's not perfect but for web it will look great. Takes me about 15-20 minutes per person. If I tried to give them a bill for post processing time at $100/hour to cut out 30 peeps they'd flip I can see it already. :(

What color is the background of the website? If that is also white(ish) it's not so big a problem. If it's black, there is (allmost) no way to get it good.
I'd tell them that, and also make clear that there is a reason you asked about background beforehand...
