I'm too tired too look this bird up in the books. My eyes are barely open. But there were a million of them buzzing around today, and there were none here 3 days ago. They're a lot prettier than this collage shows. And they move like the dickens. I wasted a lot of time trying to get a decent shot of one in flight.

So if you have any idea what they are, please let me know. Otherwise I'll look them up tomorrow.

Thanks.

Swallows... Tree swallows, I believe.

Great job on the flight shots. I've got about 1000 awful pics trying to get these guys. Almost fell off the bridge from turning circles - following these birds is difficult.

No doubt they are Tree Swallows. Here's one I took about 2 weeks ago here in Central Nebraska. Canon 10D 100-400mm L

We also have lots of Barn Swallows here too. This is one of a pair nesting in my garage.
