Sorry if this thread is confusing. I accidentally uploaded a second photo with the same file name. The image above is not the one that's being discussed below.

Agree with Narlus.
I also could do without the burnt out bit of arm, and the 'deer in the headlights' expression ;)

That expression is kind of a trademark of hers :)

I like the bassist and the burnt out arm! This isn't a studio, it's a live performance and these 'technical difficulties' add a sense of place to the images for me. Now, the bald head is something else again! And I, too, think she should get a new trademark.

He's probably not to fond of it either.

Naw, that's what we love about her.

Hay... say... Rene'...

What we thought was freakin' psycho, back in the 60's and 70's is now labeled as great "movie background music", TV commercial ballads", prime time TV show "theme melodies" ...and their performers draw older mature audiences, (their fans from the 1960's and 70's) and fill the house every time... And the fans come dressed in business suits...:D

In other words, "it ain't that psycho no more"... :D

Literally.. Newport RI,. home sweet home.

 Call me a philistine, But I am in the Tanya Donelly camp :)

we all grew up together, the Donellys were some of our closest friends,. Tanya was my first crush ( from grade school no less, and really can you blame me?) and Chris (her brother ) one of my best friends.
My first apartment was with "Young Christopher Donelly" in Providence,. Tanya and Kristen (step Sisters ) were still in the Muses then.. so we were exposed to all kinds of inside dirt on the likes of the bands they toured with..
I was never a huge fan of the Muses though, I was not smart enough.. it was "Belly" that I loved right from the get go.. but then I loved everyone in that band too!

Kristen's Mom even tutored me in Algebra in grade 8.. (very nice lady) ...
Tanya's Dad Richard was (is) a very good local actor who was taught by my Mom, who is a director and acting coach..
It's all seemed very small town show biz at the time :)
Amazing how many of them from that tight nit little Newport world went on to national stuff.

There were some business associates of mine who started a timesharing resort in Newport, RI...

At the time I was starting a timeshare resort (with a large sales team from the Poconos and the locals), in Old Saybrook/Westbrook, CT (Barbara Streisand got her start there)... This was back in 1986-87...
