NiMH Batteries for Canon A60

Hi,

I am a digital camera newbie who just got an A60 a few days ago, and I am interested in purchasing some rechargable NiMH batteries for my camera. Do the NiMH batteries have to be Canon made, or will any brand and NiMH rating work for the A60? Preferably, I would like to just go on down to Walmart and purchase a Duracell 1-hour charger and 4 - 2100 rated NiMH batteries for around $25. It sure beats the price and hassle of finding Canon batteries and chargers either on the net or in my local area. Tell me what you think... I would rather not make a poor choice after just getting my camera so soon. Thanks -=-

The camera doesn't care which batteries you put into it.

I use Sanyo NI-MH 2100's with the Sanyo Quick Charger with my Canon A70 with good results. By the way, good answer "gsmx2".
