First time I've tried a conversion....any tips?

I'd say it's a clean conversion I might add a little noise for my preference to give it a different feel but that's me personally. Crystal shot though.


Capture the moment that took your breath away. Savor each one and look for more to come!

Here's my version. Looked at the channels, blue was most interesting in the face/shirt area, so converted to grayscale with that. Used red channel for the brighter background, pasted in, erased anything not background. Masked off shirt in another layer. Adjusted curves each layer. Merged, recurved. Added noise in duplicate layer, erased it a bit in the highlights.
