Why will Picture Bridge only display some (and not all) of my pictures when i open up files.
These thumbnails show a little picture and the CS2 logo with the picture number. They are mostly raw images but some are jpegs??
I have checked that display all files is checked etc .
This is very annoying as i have to open each file in photoshop to see what the picture is:( .
It never usr to do this, can anyone help me with this please.

Do you mean Bridge, not Picture Bridge? If so , try clearing your cache by going to Tools > Cache > Purge Central Cache. Then go to Tools > Cache > Build cache for this folder.

Mike,
thanks a million for that. It worked a treat, there are just 2 it didn't open which are XMP files. Don't know how they came about but it's no problem, once again many thanks.

XMP files are sidecar files (text files) for your RAW images. They will have no thumbnails.;) Don't delete them either or your settings for your adjustments that you made will be gone.

Have a read:
