As for the copyright / authorised photographer bit, this seems to be featured regularly in the terms and conditions of entry at sporting venues. I think strictly speaking, putting photos up on sites like this could be interpreted as 'publishing' the photos, which in breech of the T&Cs. However, as I understand it, this position has not been tested in the courts yet and as long as you're not making a load of money out of them, I don't suppose anyone is going to get sued anytime soon. If they were serious, they'd have to stop people taking cameras into the circuit and from what I see, that would exclude a lot of punters.
If you don't say where the pictures where taken, presumably it might be awkward to prove that 'ownership' of the image belonged to anyone other than the photographer. Unless of course the camera includes GPS positioning in the exif these days....
