I like it, but a little too much dead space at the top for me :)

They must have been flying quite a distance from the showline if you were shooting with a 1.6x body + a 600mm lens!

Nice pics, they make me look forward to the airshow season.

I hated using our 600mm lens for aircraft.. I prefer our 80-400mm more practical.

Like the shots though. #1 especially.

Not too long before I get a ride in one :)

Thanks guys. I was on the 14th floor of a hotel on a nice big balcony, so i didnt have to hold the camera all the time, and the planes were usually not to much above eye level from me, so it wasnt so bad! i used the 100-400 for group shots when teams came out, and the 300 with 2X for single jets.
