I'll be in Dallas-Fort Worth area this Saturday and wanted to know where I should shoot if I had 3-4 hours free. I have a friend driving me, but I think I'd really like to meet up with anyone who can make it for lunch. Send me a PM if you'd be able to make it. Saturday, May 12th.

Well, I definitely love Fort Worth, TX! It is a wonderful, quaint little town and I will be back sometime. It's got so much charm.

I met 4 photographers at the event and they were all very sweet. But the funniest thing happened last night. The photographer was using a 5D and 24-105 IS and I happened to be waiting for my ride as he was waiting for the valet to come with his car. I asked which lens he was using. He started to try explaining the IS feature to me. I told him I had my 5D and 24-70 in my bag, but was told I need not worry, there was a pro there. So, I never took it out. Right then this beautiful black BMW (brand new) comes in front of us, where all these people are waiting for their cars. Expecting one of the VIP's to get into the BMW, the photographer goes forward and tips the valet and puts is stuff in the car and drives away. I asked the VIP next to me, "How does a lowly photographer afford a brand new BMW?" She said, "Well, in Texas, don't forget, everything is big!" Oh yeah. I forgot. I want to be a photographer in TX and drive a black BMW and have cash to do valet parking. :)
