I never used the neckstrap, so I never put it around my neck. I decided I'm going to attach it finally just in case I don't always feel like holding it. Well guess what? I can't figure the damn thing out. The instructions are completely **** and I have no idea how to "properly" put the strap on the camera without making it loose or feeling safe that it's secure. How the hell do you put the strap on?

Do you own a backpack? The buckle[?] operates the same way.

Slide one end of the strap through the slot on the camera. Then, take that end and run it back up the strap. Push it through the solid black rectangle, and then slide it underneath the first loop in the hollow-ish rectangle thingy. If you do it right, it will look like a loop going from the strap, to the camera, and back into the strap.

This is probably completely useless without pics... sorry :(

I put the little pastic cap thingy on the other end to hold the loose extra bit of strap.

It probably works both ways. It felt more secure on that side to me, so it stayed.

Oh, and does anyone else notice you could mount the end cap of whatever lens ur using to the cap thats used to cover the camera mount? Didn't realize I could do this, it's very convenient.

LOL yeah... makes sense though if you think about it. They're complementary mounts.
