Finally got one. Plenty to learn about the interface -- images look great, speed is fast and focus accuracy is excellent - need to learn all the variables in AI, though. Too late and dark to do any real life testing so this evening I took some still life and test shots instead.

This is Mark II with Canon 85/1.2L @ 1.2:

Great!! You probably should have gotten yours first as a gesture of appreciation from Canon. I think this site brings a few dollars their way, by virtue of people showing off their equipment.

Enjoy your new tool/toy!

So now you can say you have the biggest instrument in Finland as well as one of the fastest?

Congratulations, and happy imaging!

Yeah! 8) 8) :) :)

Great still life.. the extra bells are dauting at first.. but it just adds to what the 10D had.. so it doesn't take too long..

Still,.. there's an awfull lot of tweeking available!

Mine arrived today Pekka. Battery is charging.
I have been toying around with it tethered to the wall socket.
Dang, its quick.
The shutter definitely has a different sound to it.
I can tell I have lots to learn about AF points...amoung many other functions.

I got mine yesterday, and took a couple shots of the Venetian blinds in my office. Since then I've been buried in paperwork but hope to play around with it tonight some more. Batteries are charging in the meantime.

Congratulations, Pekka. I agree; you should have gott yours first, and you shouldn't have had to pay for it either. (in a perfect world).
