I use a profile on my monitors with Vista and have zero issues even though I do get the security popup every now and then.

Frankly I call BS :p

Just another verification of what I tell people ALL THE TIME about new MS Operating Systems. "Wait until SP1 or maybe SP2 comes out. Then you will find it will be a much better OS to use. Until then, be happy that 'early adopters' exist. It is there job to find the bugs, so you don't have to." :) ;) :p

What about us that don't have bugs? :D

My village called. I was told that they missed me.

Speedotron users, untie!

Using vista, and I've got a gretagmacbeth with zero issues for doing photography work. I turned off user accounts at the start, and don't have any issues with popups.

you have the option to turn off the security features. I hadn't done this yet on my vista OS so I can't advise on how to tell you but I do remember that there is the option to turn it off. It is very annoying that a pop up shows up at everything you wish to do or install. Geez if I didn't want to do it I'd not be trying.

Count your blessings!:D
Trust me, if you look hard enough, you will find some.
I just find it funny that turning off a "Major Feature" of an operating system because it becomes a pain to deal with, like security, renders an OS usable and "not buggy".

BTW, I hear SP1 was just released, any confirmation this rumor is true???

There are rumours on some Vista forums that SP1 is available, but I think it is a leaked version. Not sure it is available via windows update yet. I think update will pick it up straight away if it was.....
