Last week while visiting in central CA. I saw a hummingbird fly into a window. I went to check on it and it was alive but stunned. After carefully picking it up I placed it in my wifes palm while trying to decide what we should do. After a minute or two it flew into a nearby bush and after about fifteen minutes it flew away, apparently OK after it's ordeal.

It seems that most birds are ok after flying into a window. Glad to know that this one was too. It is amazing that the beak didn't break (and lucky!!!).
