This was definitly, almost easily, my favoite plane of the show. I have loved the F-22 since i first saw pictures of it and it is an amazing plane to watch. They said this was the full time it's given a full public demonstration (not just flown by) and boy was it impressive.

Yeah the afterburner shot looks great! You clearly had a very good airshow!
One of my favorite flight sims was based on the F22 :)

Just out of interest does the Yf23 still fly at all?

^ no, but was believed to be faster (and to me, looks way better and sleeker) but was more expensive. I could be wrong, maybe some prototypes are flying secretly for the future?

Great Shots!

#2 for me with the hint of vapour and the composition!

Had the opportunity to clamber over one up close last year... amazing machine.

Love the one with afterburners, but they are all excellent. Usually go the the show, saw the F22 Flyby last year, wish I was there this year, as I read this would be the 1st official full display by one. Looks like you enjoyed the show along with the other million or so that went!

Wow, No. 5 (with the afterburners lit up) is amazing, all of them great shots! I hope they continue to do the full show with that thing, and that they bring it to the Miramar Air Show this year.
