Trying my new lens. Had to cut in a lot for 1st shot.
The 2nd shot, I believe, are a pair of Rough Leg Buzards? Any help with ID for this shot please?

As well as some strange combinations, I snapped this gangster boss with his two 'minders' on a visit there. Unfortunately light was low and I was wide open so DOF has suffered and the buzzards are OOF.

We also spotted the 'WHITE' Red Kite in the distance, we hope to see it closer next time. You need to hang around a while after the main action is over. I stay in the hides for a good hour or more after the main action is finished and .

May 11, 2007 03:28 | #15 Well done capturing the White Kite. I like No2, it is sharp and it's head is in an unusual position; you see lots of shots of heads in the normal positions. If I am out there, and keep pressing the button, I might get a good one!
