Lapwing chicks, Avocet and Grey Heron

Had a couple of hours to spare this afternoon, so had a pop along to the Wetlands.

Lapwing stands gaurd over its young.

My first shot of a Heron catching a fish, although it must have been the smallest fish in the lake :lol:

Some nice shots here but you should have posted a cuteness alert on that lapwing Chick...a big smile from me on that shot and I would frame it:D
