Green water duck

The drought is taking its toll on the water here, turning it green, although the ducks don't seem to mind.

I think this is a hardhead hybrid.

Thanks davewalters - I googled the name and the images I found support that.
I'll pass that on to my duck identifier.
It appears its not normally resident here. It seemed quite at home with the other ducks in the gardens.
