Hi everyone,

New to DLSR's and this forum. Picture was taken with Rebel XTi and Sigma 70-300 APO DG. I'm having a blast!

Please C&C this picture for me.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum hawkyyz. For just starting out this is a very good shot. It's sharp with good detail. I look forward to seeing many more image posts.

Very good colors. I'm no expert and I'm also new at dslr's, but it seems you're off to a very good start :)

Very good for photo to start with. I like the colors and detail as well. If I must criticize, the head and breast are overexposed. Was this in the original or did it happen in PS?

Anyway, you'll get used to it and soon you'll learn to push the exposure to the edge without clipping detail altough we all miss sometimes. I do anyway.

I didn't notice the head and breast were overexposed until you mentioned it (I guess thats because I'm new to this...) It's so obvious now! Thanks. And yes, it's in the original.

Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate everyones encouragement!

I think that it is a very nice shot, nice and sharp with a great background.
