Thanks guys. No, as shown in #1, that piling in the left side is the center of the bridge, so it's not that wide. Where I was standing is like a support road, just a bank of dirt with a one lane road that ends at the water. People pull in there to fish down by the bridge. And I pulled in to set up the tripod and shoot the birds. :)

Thanks Rathke and Gary. I've tried to get some good shots of those nests several times before. This time I just used slow shutter speeds and they came out fine. Can't wait til there are babies. There might be some already, cause I could hear peeping coming from somewhere up in there. :)
