Here's a shot from last night, taken with by flashlight and with the built in flash. I like the red eyes very much. I wish I could have got him/her clear of branches but wasn't that lucky. This was one of 7 Barred Owls that we located last night.

Nice effect Dan. I shot a Barred Owl in daylight but with built in flash and the eyes turned that gray/white color. Very spooky.

Nice shot. I had one in the view finder three years ago but the fog put a stop to me recording it. Nice work.

Great shot, Dan. Too bad for the branches but y' know they almost add some intrigue to the shot. Was that taken on an "official" owl prowl?

Yes, this was on the owl survey that we did on Wednesday. We located 7 Barred Owls and had 4 fly out to to us.

No motivation required Dan. :D I just have to get work to slow down. We also have to make plans for that trip to Sackville soon.
