Great idea. I didn't know about the last 2 events and would like to go to the next one .

P.S. Quincy is not exactly the most photogenic area in our state so I'll let someone else pick the location.

Once July hits, I plan on making a few trips to Mt. Rainier throughout the summer (got to put my National Parks Pass to use). Those would most likely happen on Fridays, as I have that day off and it's less crowded than on Saturday or Sunday.

I'm not going to plan anything for those trips (as I'm a terrible planner), but if others want to know when I'm going I'll let you know if you let me know who you are.

And I'm interested in whatever meet someone comes up with. I missed the last one.

I am in Oregon and would be interested in seeing what people wanted to do.

Last time I drove to Seattle AND the NW Trek -- that was a wee bit too much driving for my taste.

How about someone set up a meeting with Art Wolfe if he is in town. His gallery is on 1st just south of Safeco Field. He was in when I visited a few weeks ago. He's a nice guy and might not mind if we take up just a few minutes of his time.

That could be a starting/ending point of our day.

I don't know him at all, but maybe someone here has some influence to make this happen. Just an idea.

Hey all, your interest in meeting with other Northwest area photographers is something that we share over on NWPhotographers.net (external link). I invite you to come and check it out and strike up a gathering there, where over 50 members visit each day on average and many more than that on occassion.

NWPhotographers.net is free and not commercially affiliated and is made up of area photogs with interests similar to what you are expressing interest in. Join the forums and set up your gathering there!
