The first three images are from a 1960's cover night, where local sheffield bands performed (18 in total). Incredible atmosphere, amazing performances, and it was all for charity too.

The last 2 shots are from a small venue in Sheffield that has seen some incredible acts pass through, and these were just two of the images (of HUNDREDS) that i thought i'd share.

Thanks again.

First image is very nice. I'd crop off the bit of hand sticking in from the right, and straigten it a bit.
Fourth image is very nice. Maybe crop a bit bottom & left to loose the red cable.
Last one is nice, interesting framing. Not sure if I like the speaker in the right, but I don't know if you can loose it without loosing too much top & bottom, thus 'space'.

#2 and 3 are abit too central in composition: They both need a bit more space in the 'viewing direction' (right)

Thanks René. I think i need to spend more time on my images in post, to sort out the details you mentioned. In my defence (ha!) i had quoffed quite a substantial amount of Guinness during this event (all for charity of course), which might explain my less than level shot (crosses fingers and hopes people accept that excuse)

Thanks :D

Rene' pretty much covered it I think. I really like the first and last ones...great images! The lighting and expression in the first are amazing, and I really like the composition in the last...the way the mic stand, speaker, and cable frame the shot and the subject/guitar creates an angle. Also the edges of the paper kind of point right toward the subject. Lots of great diagonal lines.
