It's always interesting to capture a bird when they're looking right in the camera and don't look the least bit nervous about it...

Even though the background is totally blown out on this one, there's something about it that I kind o' like...

So PEI is where these guys head when they leave us! :D

I like the first image. I was going through my captures putting together a folder with the "best" of each species. Your White Throat is better than what I have in my "Best Of" folder. I am going to have to go out and see if there any left around these parts!

The blown out background is distracting to me and seems to overemphasize the fact that the bird is in the shadows. But if you like it, that is all that counts! ;) We've had this discussion before. :)

Hi Ed. This is where they come all right. I have about a dozen of them every day in my yard. I agree that the background is distracting. Perhaps this would be a good candidate for a background replacement. :)
