My actual signature on pictures

Ok I want to have my real signature on my images, what is the best way to do this. I have signed white paper with a fine sharpy and scanned it but the results are not up to par for what I want. I was wondering if any one has a better way or if there is tools in PS that I have not learned to make it sharper and crisper after I scan it in.

What I did was go to Russel Browns website, Download the action 'Digital Watermark Branding', have a look at the video, and modify the action to use my autograph.
(Scanned the autograph, used the pen tool to get a path around it (also helps to get a 'better' handwriting ), and inserted it into the action.

I've played with it and I found that you should sign your white piece of paper with a thicker tipped pen. The very fine one doesn't scan all that well. You can always scale it down in the end.
