I was photographing a red shoulder hawk at the lake this morning and, as I looked up from the viewfinder to adjust my settings, he suddenly took off and dove into the bushes near the edge of the lake. The next thing I knew, he was flying off with a couple blackbirds in chase. He had taken one of their chicks from the nest and was flying off with it. UNFORTUNATELY, I had the wrong shutter speed to get this shot, so this was the best I could do:
