Excellent. I find woodies flush as soon as they see me approaching.

Thanks Dan! If I wasn't in a portable blind, I wouldn't have a chance at getting any kind of close up shots. Sometimes in the evening, I try and leave the blind when it's too dark to get any decent shots. As soon as the woodies swim to the other side of the blind I try and sneak out the back. I'll be doggone if they don't swim over where they can see me, then fly away!

Hey, thanks Gary! We're finally getting some birds up here. Spring has sprung. I sure hope the northern half of Minnesota doesn't burn up. It's about as dry as I remember it for this time of the year and I've been here since 1971.

Awesome shots. If I can afford that lens when I retire, I will try to get some shots like yours. Just give me about 30 years, give or take! Thanks for sharing these...

Thank you very much, Erik! That lens does cost an arm and a leg. But I don't regret it one bit! It's paid for! Thanks again!

And thank you, Winkie! That first one is my favorite too.

Thanks, Dan! What I like about the first two shots is there was little or no cropping on those images.

Thank you, Morehtml! I appreciate your comment!

These are great shots. Definitely have the WOW factor. I have been chasing some for about a week. No luck yet.
