here are some more shots of the baby redwinged blackbirds at the park - they're a week old now... 30D, Sigma, 400mm, various shutter speeds (1/125-1/200) at f6.3...

yeah, it's the Sigma EX 80-400. i love the lens. it's optically as good as the Canon 100-400 "L" or the Nikon 80-400VR, but about $300-350 cheaper than either, and the stabilizer works so well, i seldom use a tripod.
