grip and batteries

I use Canon and generic batteries (eforcecity). I'm thinking about buying a battery grip for my DRebel. My question is if it's okay to mix Canon and generic batteries.

IMO there should´nt be any problem. If in doubt just insert one and change when empty 8)

Agreed. I've never had a problem. I do tend to be a little anal about leaving batteries in anything for extended periods, so I usually pull them out of the grip and 'top them off' after a day of shooting. They don't go back in until I know I'm going to be using the camera.
