1DMKII, Shutter Noise Reduction PF

Has anyone messed with the PF function for shutter noise?
What was the result, I have not tethered mine to the computer to jack with it yet.
Shooting this thing in public sure draws attention...

I've not messed with it myself.. my MkII's shutter is Sooooooo much quieter than the 1D shutter is.. that it just seems fine :)

Of course the 10D is a lot quieter still....

The sound of the shutter snap on the Mark II is so pretty, I would hate to have to reduce it!

I have heard it described as sounding like an old Super 8 movie camera with a Hemi !!!

There's a lot going on in there....shutter snap, mirror slap, film advance. The more noise the better! :lol:
