Wood Thrush

I manage to take these two (the only two) images of a Wood Thrush as he flew from one tree to another and then off into the distance.

C&C welcomed.


This could have been a decent image if only... it weren't for that stupid twig curling upward across his body. :mad:

And likewise, this could have been a good image if only... he were facing my direction. :rolleyes: At least I was able to catch him with his head turned. Nice hairdo by the way!

Actually, I removed the 400 5.6 for the first time in over a month. I put on my "Nifty Fifty" with the 12mm Kenko tube and Flash, got down on my belly and shot a few wildflowers. Talk about a small DOF! I've got a lot to learn there as well. I am unsure about posting in Nature or Macro. Or maybe here in Birds. They can't get less attention than the Wood Thrush! :lol: ;)
