Nice set, they are in the uk this year lets see how they stand up to the reds.;)

I presume you haven't seen them before. I saw them at Mildenhall a few years back and to be completely honest, they made the Red Arrows look like a bunch of amateurs, their formation flying is so much tighter.

Canon 7D2, Canon 5DC, Canon 40D, Canon 350D, 17-40mm F4, 24-105mm F4, 50mm F1.8, 100mm F2.8, 300mm F4, 70-200mm F4 IS, 100-400mm f5.6, Sigma 15mm Fisheye, Sigma 10-20mm F5.6, 580EX II, 430 EX and a bagload of other stuff

I`ve seem the Thunderbird's, Blue Angels, Snowbirds and Red Arrows at airshows over the years, and to be honest the best thing about the Thunderbirds is the planes and the music they play while displaying, they say themselves that they do manovers any trained military pilot can do. They do a nice display, but they do not touch the Red Arrows, or the Blue Angels, both of them are excellent, and would choose either of them every time over the Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds might fly a tight formation, but they are not as an exciting display as the Red Arrows or Blue Angels, in my opinion.:D
