I don't know why they are suddenly so plentiful - I've never seen them before, and this morning, I've seen at least four, bobbing across the lawn like robins, which they greatly resemble. No Warblers, no Orioles, I did manage to "pish" out a male and female Scarlet Tanager but didn't have the camera. "the earth has music for those who listen."

Wonder what's up?are you having lack of rain up in the Valley? We've been at least a week without, and the temps are rising, as is the humidity. But if it's drought that's bothering them, I should think my two bird baths (which I'm herniating myself cleaning every day) should draw them in. So far, just blue jays and cardinals.
