Good ole red bird

I've been trying and trying to get a good shot of this guy ..I am well pleased with this shot ~

Great shot! I know how skittish these birds can be. What lens were you using?

Excellent shot, very good work.
I've been trying to get a good shot of a pair of cardinals which hang around my neighbour two doors away. I hear his call every day but except for the occasional glimpse I have not had a good opportunity to get a shot.

I was using a 55-200 lens and thanks ~I am proud of this shot because they are hard to capture well .

A very unique perspective, beautiful colours....and exposed right.
By golly, how did you manage to get all that DoF that close to the bird ?
